International Rally West Coast Swing Flashmob: June - September
On the first Saturday in September every year, West Coast Swing dancers from all over the world come together and dance in flashmob fashion in prominent locations in their cities. The International Rally West Coast Swing (IRWCS) flashmob routine is set in early May, and WCS dancers everywhere practice the routine over the next several months. The choreography is put together by Olivier and Virginie Massart (Lyon, France) to promote WCS to the local and worldwide community as the best dance in the world! More info can be found on the Facebook page: International Rally West Coast Swing - Flashmob.
Check out the Seattle IRWCS Flashmob Facebook group for discussions and other important information!
Check out the compilation video of dancers from 246 cities in 41 countries, from Aalborg (Norway) to Yantai (China) performing the 2017 routine in special locations in their cities:

Rally Flashmob Group Demos: various dance venues
Every year, the Seattle IRWCS Flashmob is possible due to the time and effort of local dance teachers and regular dancers, who want to spread the love of West Coast Swing to Seattle! We wear #easterswing gear because it is the annual dance convention hosted by SSDC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We would appreciate any support in any of the following ways:
Offer free/low-cost floor space
Teach the choreo
Offer your WCS dance venue for us to demo
Scout locations for this year's performances
Equipment support (video crew, music crew, photography crew, etc.)
Donate directly to SSDC for Sunday floor space
Donate directly to Scot McKay for Wednesday floor space
Invite and share the free lessons, practicas, and performance demos with your dance students, friends & family who may be interested
RSVP and 'rally' for us on performance days even if you aren't dancing
Thank a Seattle rally flashmob volunteer today!
