Swing through the Seattle Swing Dance Club (SSDC) for West Coast Swing (WCS) workshops, free beginner lesson, and Westie social dancing!
Yes! Katia Rar & Miles Van de Wetering will be partnering to teach the all levels and intermediate classes at SSDC on April 6th. This will be their first time teaching together and they couldn't be more excited! We hope you all can make it out and stay for social dancing with music provided by DJ Katia.

12:30 pm SSDC Practice Club: Come use the open dance floor to learn and grow! Bring a partner, a group, or just yourself.
1:45 pm Register, warm up, and volunteer to set up
2:00 pm Special Workshop: A Taste of Dance/Movement Therapy: Change your life by changing how you move. An experiential of what dance/movement therapy is and how it can help you move and live differently. Experience connecting differently to yourself, to others, and the world around you.
4:00 pm Intermediate WCS Workshop w/ Katia & Miles: Following the Follow - how follows can communicate their ideas mid-pattern, and how leads can listen and adapt.
5:00 pm All Levels WCS Workshop w/ Katia & Miles: Beginnings, Middles, and Endings - turn your basics into new pattern combinations... and as a follow, how to expect the unexpected.
5:30 pm FREE 1-Hour Beginner Lesson (upstairs)
6:00 pm Social dance starts w/ DJ Katia
9:00 pm Social dance ends & volunteer to clean up
