Monthly Board Meetings
Join us for our virtual Monthly Board Meeting to be part of the longest running dance club and shaping the future of the Seattle West Coast Swing (WCS) dance community! This is your chance to connect with other club members, share your ideas, and learn about the exciting projects we’re working on.
NOTE: to join the meeting please use your full name so that we can verify your identity. Bonus: contact an attending board member in advance, so we can be proactive about it.
WHEN: Every second Sunday, 5:00 PM Pacific. (Check the SSDC Sundays Schedule for exact date/time of the next Board meeting)

Run for Board of Directors as a Member at Large
Deadline: Accepting applications through November 22, 2025.
The term lasts 2 years. Duties include the following:
Show up on Sundays to be the Board Member On Duty (either open, close, or cover the mid-day supervision shift)
Time commitment: 1-2 3h shifts per quarterAttend the monthly Board meeting (add items to the agenda for discussion, surface issues, propose solutions, vote on decisions)
Time commitment: 1h per monthAdopt 1 project to help us keep the lights on, or improve things (Dance Operations, Marketing, Hiring Staff, Safety, Website Content and more).
Time commitment: varies
SSDC Committee-Only Members
Accepting applications year round. NOTE: You do not have to be a board member to join any of our committees but you must be a club member in good standing.
Adopt 1 project to help us keep the lights on, or improve things (Dance Operations, Marketing, Hiring Staff, Safety, Website Content maintenance and more).
Time commitment: varies
