Level Recommendation: Competitive Intermediate+ (10+ Novice Points)
Workshop: How to Dance to Fast Music
What to Expect: We will be exploring different techniques and tips for how to dance to fast music without getting (too) tired. We will work with both contemporary and blues music.
Time: 4:00-5:00
Level Recommendation: Novice+ (strong WCS foundation)
Workshop: Authenticity and Finding Your Voice
What to Expect: This will be a deep dive exploring your individual dancing, how to stand out from the crowd, what you want to say through dance and express yourself authentically. We will go through a worksheet, "try on" a few different styles, and do some internal exploration.
Time: 5:00-6:00
Level Recommendation: All Levels
Workshop: What "Clean Basics" Actually Means
What to Expect: This class is for all dancers and is designed to challenge you at your individual level. We will be exploring small, but important, refinements in our individual movement from head to toe.
