Seattle West Coast Swing Summer Party workshops, dinner, dance, and competitions

This is our annual summer dance party, which is free for members! Swing through the Seattle Swing Dance Club (SSDC) for West Coast Swing (WCS) workshops, potluck dinner, fun competitions, and more:
1-hour volunteer slots to earn event discount ($15 value!)
Two WCS workshops with local All-Star Rebecca Savoca
FREE one-hour newcomer West Coast Swing class: invite your friends & family to start or learn the opposite role if you know WCS basics
Community dinner potluck: bring something to share!
Three-plus hours of social dancing with DJ Rebecca: FREE dance admission for members!
All Levels Open Jackpot Jack & Jill (J&J) comps (random partner, random song) with Chief Judge, Wren Newman
Tentative SCHEDULE:
3:30 pm Register, warm up, and volunteer to set up
4:00 pm Intermediate WCS Workshop with Rebecca
5:00 pm All Levels WCS Workshop with Rebecca
5:30 pm FREE 1 Hour Beginner Lesson (upstairs)
6:00 pm Social dance and potluck starts: please bring something to share.
6:30 pm Competitions registration ends
7:30 pm Competitions start, finals, and awards
9:30 pm Social dance ends later to make up for competitions & volunteer to clean up

Dance admission included with purchase of 1 or more workshop! We also honor affiliated swing club memberships.

The SSDC is committed to the growth of West Coast Swing in our community. This includes providing an opportunity to get experience competing if this is a part of your dance journey. We are committed to providing a safe and fun place to dip your toes in the competition waters, or continue to experiment as you gain experience.
